What does it mean to meet the needs of a full range of learners at a middle level?

Meeting the needs of a full range of learners at a middle level can mean many different things. To me, it means that I am delivering information that is stuck the student, I am meeting their mental needs, and I am connecting with the students. My goal in a classroom is to make sure each student is confident, comfortable, and gathering information. As said in EdPuzzle video (TedTalk), Students are still developing their decision making skills up until they are living independently. As a teacher, I want to ensure that I can impact their decisions. Student's often don't know the difference between right or wrong when it comes to a quick thinking issue. Being able to correct the student in a proper way can impact how they move forward. Also rewarding them when doing something right can impact how they act further down the road. As we were watching the EdPuzzles and the listening to the podcast, I learned that students need the extra step of encouragement and reinforcement to do better. Whenever you positively  reinforce a student, there is a better chance they will want to learn more and do better with the said subject. When I had worked at a daycare, I used positive reinforcement with the children so they understood they were doing the right things. For example, When teaching the Pre-K students how to properly right their names, I would give positive verbal reinforcement so they understood they were doing it correctly (or sometimes give them stickers). In the future, I want to make sure my students and I have a good connection so I can understand what they need in their learning environment. Meeting the needs of student full range ensures that they are feeling safe, gathering information correctly, and developing in the right direction.
