Week 4 Student Teaching
Week 4 Student Teaching Today went by SO FAST. It was super crazy because it was a Monday but also was super productive. The students did a finding evidence lesson today where they had to listen, read, and find evidence to support a claim. All of the claims were based on being unjust (we're talking about Rosa Parks). I monitored mostly on what students were doing, if they were on task, and redirected them. Some kids were trying to sleep today so I tried to redirect them without having other students notice I was talking to them. After the students left today, Miss Vega and I planned on how we were going to co-teach on Wednesday for my observation. So far, we plan to go back and forth with the text, questions, and work book activity so I can get some action time. I still need to establish a start time in order to start my phasing in. I am going to talk to Miss Vega tomorrow during planning to get her opinion and idea on what we should do. We...
